Talos 599XXT – The scope for this project was to take the customers vision, and design, engineer and manufacture making it a reality. All areas of this project were built with no compromise and adheres to established premium automotive quality and manufacturing standards.

Steps:

  • Review images & concepts with the customer
  • 3D Laser scan the donor vehicle internal & external surfaces.
  • Create CAD geometry for the “b” surface interface & “A” surfaces for styling.
  • Create styling concept for review& customer PQS approval.
  • Design & manufacture Patterns, Tooling & assembly fixturing.
  • Create component laminate & assembly regimes & manuals.
  • Design & procure “body in white” fixing & mounting components.
  • Manufacture components
  • Assemble for “body in white” gap & flush review.
  • Prepare, prime & paint to customer preferences.
  • PDI & deliver to the customer.
