Scope of the Quality Management System
Based on the analysis of MCT’s business model and in consideration of the products produced, MCT’s scope of the quality management system is as follows:
MCT is a specialist composite manufacturer working primarily within the Automotive, Motorsport and Defence industries, producing high quality structural and innovative components, utilising the latest advances within the industry.
MCT prides itself on building good relations with customers, based on providing an honest and reliable service and delivering high quality parts.
MCT is in a prime location, situated less than 20 miles from Silverstone circuit, with close links to a number of F1 teams, not to mention prestigious automotive sites, to which we are a tier 1 supplier.
MCT has increased onsite facilities and plans to continue to do so, in an effort to eliminate any risks associated with being bound by sub suppliers.
MCT reviews its risks and opportunities on a regular basis, in line with the Context of the Organisation whilst considering the needs and expectations of all relevant interested parties.
The quality system applies to all processes, activities and employees within the company.

The current scope of certification is:
‘The manufacture of carbon composite items and associated fixings and supports for motorsport, automotive, aircraft, marine, industrial and other applications’
The following clause of ISO 9001 were determined to be not applicable to MCT:
“8.3 Design and Development. Production is conducted to customer drawings and specifications.”
